Our story
Prestige Lighting is a locally owned landscape lighting company, rooted in Connecticut’s Farmington Valley. It is owned and run by Elijah and Aaron Livingston, who were born and raised here — the towns we work in are the ones we grew up in, not a market we moved into.
Our mission is simple: to create outdoor lighting systems that enhance beauty, improve safety, and extend the enjoyment of every home.
Thoughtfully designed lighting doesn’t just illuminate a property — it highlights architectural features, showcases landscaping, creates inviting outdoor spaces, and provides added security long after the sun goes down.
Every project is approached with careful planning, premium materials, and meticulous installation.

Elijah (left) and Aaron own and run Prestige Lighting. They grew up in the Farmington Valley, and they’re the ones who walk your property with you and see the work through.
How we work
No subcontractors, no catalogues
Most lighting sold in Connecticut is sold by a landscaper who subs it out, or by a supplier who ships a kit. Both produce the same result: fixtures placed where they are easy to place, aimed once, and never adjusted. It looks fine on day one and wrong by year two.
The person who walks your property with you is on staff, the crew that trenches the cable is on staff, and the technician who comes back each spring to re-aim is usually one of the two who installed it. Nothing is subcontracted, which is slower to scale and much easier to stand behind.
We specify solid brass almost exclusively. It costs more than aluminium or composite and it is the only material that still looks deliberate after fifteen New England winters. We keep the fixture range deliberately narrow, because knowing exactly how something behaves matters more than choice.
